Mambo (formerly named Mambo Open Source or MOS) is an open source content management system (CMS) for creating and managing websites through a simple web interface. It has attracted many users due to its ease of use. Mambo also includes more advanced features such as page caching to improve performance on busy sites, advanced templating techniques, and a fairly robust API.

Control panel PDF Print E-mail
Control Panel is the first page you see during the authorization on the administrator section.  You can always come back to it pressing the button “main” in the basic menu. There are a few labels for a quick access to the often used sections of the site administration and informational field with  five bookmarks.

Quick access labels
Menu Manager: press this label for an access to the menu manager.  You will be able to edit and rule your menu.
Front Page Manager: press this label for an access to the front page manager. You will be able to rule the materials reflecting on your front page.
Static Content Manager: press this label for an access to the Static content manager. You will be able to edit this kind of content.
Section Manager: press this label for an access to the section manager. You will be able to edit the sections of your site.
Category Manager: press this label for an access to the category manager. You will be able to edit the categories of your site.
All Content Items: press this label for an access to the all content items. All content items – is a list of all the published objects on the site.
Trash Manager: press this label for an access to the trash manager. You will be able to delete or to restore any content from the trash manager.
Global Configuration: press this label for an access to the global configurations of the site.  You will be able to edit the configurations of your site.
Help: press this label for looking through the catalogue of the built in help system.
Information panel:
Logged: reflects the list of the users, authorized in current moment on the site (in admin interface and in users part)
Components: press this label for an access to the components and subparagraphs of these components.
Popular: press this label for an access to the looking through the publication of the most popular publications of your site. This list contains the date of creation, publication, and the number of reviews. Press the title of this publication for its editing.
Latest Content: Press this bookmark for looking through the list of added materials. This list contains the date of publication creation and its author. Press the name of publication for editing it.
